Since the weather warmed..in the last couple of days, flowers have been popping up all over the garden. Bulbs I forgot I even planted, bulbs that didn't even flower last year. I guess it is hardly surprising... chemical reactions..metabolism goes faster at warmer temperatures and the temperatures in the 70s and 80s definitely qualify as warm. The bulbs I planted in the big pots a few weeks ago are started to poke through the soil.
Top left: Fritillaria uva vulpus; Top right: Scilla siberica (maybe siberica maybe another variety); Bottom left: Tulip; Bottom right: Anenome blanda 'blue shades.
Ooops - the Scilla and tulip have swapped.
